I love puff, shortcrust, savoury and sweet pies so much I plan to have a table full at my wedding...
They will be sweet shortcrust homemade pies filled with all sorts of delicious sweet and sour fruits and even some root vegetables laced with exotic spices.....
It's been a busy time for me in the last year - working long hours in a cupcake bakery, studying for my degree in bakery management and planning my wedding, all of course has been delightful - have just not had time updating my Baker Lou blog.
I am in the process of perfecting all the wonderful baked goods I have learnt so far including finding the inspiration for designing my wedding cake which I look forward to posting very soon....

My dear friend organised a great event in aid of the disastrous earthquake in Haiti last night.
The night was in full swing with fantastic live bands & DJ's, loads of raffle prizes and mountains of Baker Lou cupcakes which thank god sold out satisfying the tastebuds of all the punters in sight.
It was a truly superb night, I can't wait for the next up and coming event.
Didn't really have time to have a varied selection of flavours, but did have different coloured frosting with the usual pretty decoration.
